Common: 32% of caucasians, 73% of blacks and 7% of asians are at risk for developing anti-c

Information: 

Anti-c can cause severe HDN [1]. One of the most important things to note is that with anti-c the direct coombs test done on baby can come back negative, but baby still be severely (or fatally) affected [2]. Infants affected by anti-c may need no intervention, or they may require phototherapy, IVIG, exchange transfusion, or RBC transfusion.
